Hurriyat (M) greets Pakistan on 70th Independence Day | KNO

On the eve of 70th Independence Day of Pakistan, Hurriyat Conference (M) congratulated and greeted the people and the government of Pakistan amid conveying best wishes, stated that the country has always supported the Kashmiri struggle, on moral, political and diplomatic fronts and always backed the people of Jammu and Kashmir in achieving their goal of right to self determination.

On the eve of 70th Independence Day of Pakistan, APHC congratulated and greeted the people and the government of Pakistan amid conveying best wishes, stated that the country has always supported the Kashmiri struggle, on moral, political and diplomatic fronts and always backed the people of Jammu and Kashmir in achieving their goal of right to self determination.

In a statement issued here, the APHC said Pakistan’s constant support to the people of Kashmir and their just struggle has been a source of strength for them and today the entire Kashmiri nation besides congratulating the country is also praying for its security, prosperity and progress on all fronts. 

Meanwhile  APHC strongly condemned the government action of once again imposing curfew in downtown Srinagar and turning the entire area into a military fortress. Hurriyat said downtown people are made to suffer on a regular basis as the imposition of curfew besides causing hardships to the people is also resulting in huge losses to the business community as the area is considered as the oldest economical hub of Kashmir. APHC said that every day restrictions in downtown is a ploy to weaken economy of traders and other businessmen.

Meanwhile, APHC expressed its concern over the health of ailing resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani and prayed to Almighty for his speedy recovery.
